Magazine task: 

Potential magazine to use: 4x4 magazine 

Shares target audience, cover related topics, only dedicated magazine for 4x4 vehicles so is perfect for promoting a documentary all about 4x4 SUVs. Have a very distinct cover that has remained the same format,  

Analysis: 

Very simple aesthetic that appeals to the target audience of 4x4 owners 

Top of page is the banner with everything that can be found in the magazine.  

Title in large red san serif font, smaller image to the right of the title sometimes an add sometimes an image from an article within the magazine, tag line under the title in yellow then under the tag line is a small sub heading in white.  

Central image of a 4x4 vehicle generally related to the main article and tag line. Beneath the central image are three sub images with their own sub headings advertising articles within the magazine and one external add for ether the sale of a 4x4 vehicle or a 4x4 related company.  

In the bottom right of the cover is the issue date and bar code.

Have the name of the person being interviewed in the title, the beginning of the article is an introduction in the first person but past tense from the author and interviewer, the rest of the article is either in the first person from the interviewees perspective answering questions or from the perspective of interviewer with quotes from the interviewed placed after their respective question.
