Sergei Eisenstein was a russian director from the 1920s, he is most famous for his film Battleship potemkin known as the 11th greatest film ever created and sighted as the first docudrama.
He pionered several filming teqniqes most notobly Montage which he used to warp and disrupt time to ether speed up or slow down events.
